A great addition to the LEGO building toy sets were the little LEGO people that were introduced in the 1970's. These LEGO figures, also sometimes called mini figures, are extremely collectible and fun to play with. These little figures are very simplistic, despite the addition of features and accessories over the years. They typically have removable pieces like hands and legs and even the heads!
There are various LEGO themed building block sets that are available with some being much more popular than others. Most of these themes also include LEGO figures and usually these figures are the most popular feature of a given play set. The LEGO City people are very popular and are used to recreate every day normal human activities, only in building block toys. There are anything from construction workers, to truck drivers and suited up business men.

Star Wars building block sets are by the far the most collectible series of themes and the figures included in this series are sometimes very rare and hard to find. This scarcity tends to drive up the price of the more in demand and hard to find LEGO mini figures.
A great example of a LEGO Star Wars play set that features a good group of mini figures is the Cloud City 10123 set. The Cloud City system features seven figures total with many of those being quite collectible and hard to find. Unfortunately, this particular building block set is not available to purchase directly from the official site although is possible to find at some auction sites.
